As a principal investigator, Dr. Anindyajati led a study to measure the psychological effects of COVID-19 infection in the community, with a focus on the biopsychosocial changes that occur. Dr. Eka Dian Safitri was a principal investigator at Health-I, and her research was a study to create a predictive model for sudden deafness patients. The model can be used to predict the probability of hearing threshold improvement in this patient group. Ami Febriza, HEALTH-I participant Ami Febriza, a PhD candidate from the Faculty of Medicine, Hasanuddin University in Indonesia, has recently arrived in the Netherlands on a 3 month visit to the Julius Centre as part of her ‘sandwich’ programme. It is with deep regret that we announce that our beloved colleague and friend Dr. Nikmah Salamia Idris passed away on 4th August, Sunday in London, UK, at the age of 41 years. Nikmah graduated in Indonesia as a pediatrician in 2009 and continued her career in pediatric cardiology. As from 2011 she joined our team as a PhD candidate, using her own ongoing research in Jakarta, Indonesia and the Whistler cohort in Leidsche Rijn, Utrecht.
